KIMS, Pfizer partner to launch CoE for adult vaccination

Pfizer India, a pharmaceutical company on Friday launched a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Adult Vaccination, in collaboration with Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Hyderabad. The CoE aims to promote the adoption of adult vaccination within the local community to protect patients against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The centre, situated at KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad was inaugurated by Dr Bhaskar Rao, CMD, Kims Hospital. Following the inauguration, a scientific summit led by Dr Bhaskar Rao, and Dr Sambit Sahu, Medical Director at Kims Hospital was held for healthcare professionals to discuss cutting-edge adult vaccination advancements and customization of vaccination protocols across hospital departments, including Pulmonology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology.
